“As parents the worse feeling to drop on us during those playful times is the emptiness when we can’t locate any of our children. Everyday many parents experience this with positive and unfortunately negative results. My work as a security officer has me dealing with parents children daily and often because of a late bus or parents have to work later than normal, the child is horrified because somehow the’re not with the mom, dad or guardian. When I ask them their phone number or apartment number, they are to nervous to remember or just don’t know. This is no fault to the parents because things happen, and hey…there’re kids. They want mommy and don’t want to be asked questions, just give me mommy!”
